Live camera Rugby, United Kingdom
Rugby is a city in the county of Warwickshire, England, the administrative center of the Rugby district (borough).
The city is located on the Avon River, 21 km east of Coventry.
Rugby owes its fame to a fashionable private school founded in 1567 with funds from Lawrence Sheriff. This school first introduced a rugby game named after her.
The city itself lost its former patriarchal appearance in the 19th century due to its transformation into an important railway junction. Even in the Victorian era, the production of cement and turbines was established.

In addition to the private school, Rugby became known to the world thanks to the Thomson-Houston laboratory, in which Dennis Gabor, professor of London College, worked. Here the scientist got the idea of the holographic method when he was working on improving the electron microscope.
